Telangana Formaion Day celebrations in Melbourne

Melbourne,  Australia (June 1st 2015): Melbourne Telangana Forum Inc. (MTF) organized Grand Telangana Formation Day Celebrations in Melbourne on May 30 2015, Australia to mark the formation Day Celebrations of Telangana as 29th state of India. The event aptly named ‘Telangana State Formation-First Anniversary Celebrations by MTF’ and was set in a Mela environment, attended by well over 500 people. Several passionate volunteers from Telangana state took part in various activities and contributed for the grand success of the event. The Event was echoed with Jai Telananga and all celebrated the Telangana formation day with great enthusiasm.
MTF Founder members shared the MTF objectives and MTF active support to
Telangana movement. With the support of the volunteers, MTF Event Executive team planned and executed the event.
The event started with Lord Ganesha song conducted for the well-being and prosperity of new state of Telangana and with lighting the lamp at Prof. JayaShankar Sir Photo and then after Telananga prayer and a 2 minutes silence of tribute played to Telangana martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Telananga formation. The event was very enthusiastic with Telangana cultural events, Songs and it was active participation from Telangana people in Victoria, Melbourne.
Vote of thanks were payed to MTF members, other Telanganites and sponsors who contributed to work on collective initiative, venue arrangements, food arrangements, entertainment programs, other logistics and managing overall event to make it grand success.
Later, Telangana food was served to all participants and all are looking forward to see bright future of Telangana and MTF members pledged to contribute to Telangana Development in India.
Melbourne Telangana Forum (MTF), a registered not-for-profit organization formed by the Telangana Non Resident Indians, to preserve the Telugu Telangana Indian cultural identity and contribute to its development. MTF is formed to provide a platform for literary, cultural, educational, social and developmental
activities in Melbourne, Australia.
