Bare foot to Goa , a 90-min feature film, will be released across India on April 10, in around 100 screens. The plan of action of the film is as novel as its storyline.
“I made this movie on a shoe-string plan of Rs.50 lakh,” Mr. Morchhale told correspondents here on Sunday.
“I sent the movieto 12 film celebrations and got extraordinary reaction. The people who viewed the motion picture urged me to release it in theaters. Rather than crowd funding sites, I contacted people through Facebook by composing a passionate letter connected with a trailer of the picture.”
The reaction was overpowering, he says, as inside 45 days, people from 18 nations, including outsiders, contributed an aggregate of Rs.50 lakh. “The funding was anyplace in the middle of Rs.1,000 and Rs.10 lakh. My first commitment originated from Hyderabad, and around 18 people from here have put resources into it,” Mr. Morchhale said.
