Bollywood Ajay Devgn agreed to be the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh without charging fees some time ago; however the lack of constructive activity or any interest on the part of AP officials to keeping him away from the project.

Just like Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of Tourism Gujarat; Ajay Devgn wanted to promote AP Tourism, for which his team wanted a professional agency that could project the brand well across India, to be roped in. But AP officials apparently wanted him to work with a local PR agency. Though a reputed PR agency may charge more, it will do a professional job, the team shared. Goa is also trying to rope in the actor to be their brand ambassador and has come forward to allow Ajay Devgn to build a media city there.

If everything goes as per the plan, Ajay Devgn’s proposal to build a media city on the lines of Dubai in Amaravathi may also be a reality. However, the project still is in conceptualization stage.
