The Planned Hyderabad police commissioner’s Headquarters-cum-Integrated Command and Control Center at Banjara Hills will house all wings of the police and emergency services under a single roof.

Alerts received  by Dial-100, ambulance, fire, SHE, Hawkeye and different apps will be incorporated under a single window utilizing propelled CAD tools . GPS-based ambulance and correspondences with hospitals and blood donation centers will also be under the same window.. Electronic surveillance could be effectively done by systematically connecting the CCTV cameras installed by the department, the government authorities and the community members, he said.

The HQ will also handle the Citizen Petition Management Stack, the database-linked Crime and Criminal Tracking System and the Traffic Management System, senior police officials said.

Hyderabad police commissioner M. Mahender Reddy said the HQ will be the technology driven operational center point of all wings of the city police and will make interaction with the government smooth. “It will be a unique tower with technology combination, a hawk eye ensuring the people of the city and upgrading security standards,” he said.

The building will have a mega sunlight based photovoltaic roof and a helipad at the highest point of the building, officials  said. “Since all wings of the police will be working under a roof there will be fast reaction to complaints. There will be single-premises administration work areas at the building and people can abstain from looking and meandering around for diverse police wings,” said a senior official.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that the government is excited about introducing people benevolent policing routines in the state. The CM was talking after laying the foundation stone of the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate HQ-cum-Control Center at Banjara Hills. He said that the building will be constructed at an expense of Rs 302 crore.
