Megastar Amitabh Bachchan feels “humbled and “honoured” to have gotten a privileged doctorate from the Egyptian Academy of Arts for his commitment to silver screen.
He took to micro-blogging webpage Twitter to share the news. Alongside a photo, the 72-year-old tweeted: “Prestigious Academy of Art in Cairo, decorates me a Hon Doctorate… humbled and honoured. First for India!!”
This is the first occasion when that the Academy of Arts has given a doctorate to a universal actor.
