In the wake of having overhauled the undergrad syllabus for history, the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) has now structured a board of trustees to adjust the common course syllabus.
A meeting of the TSCHE that was hung on Friday chose that N. Gopi, former Vice – Chancellor of the Telugu University, will be the panel’s chairman. Changes will be made for college undergraduates for whom Telugu is a second languages as additionally for B.A. Telugu writing undergraduates.
For the previous, Telangana’s writing will supplant the Andhra writing that is presently being taught, a senior TSCHE official said.
For last year B.A. Telugu undergraduates, a paper titled Andhra Sahitya Charitra (the historical backdrop of Andhra writing) will be supplanted with Telangana Sahitya Charitra .
“We have been asked to modify the course and submit it by April end. The syllabus will be taught to undergraduates from the 2015-16 scholarly year itself,” said TSCHE vice-chariman Mallesh Sankasala.
He said the Andhra ‘dilect’, shortly utilized as a part of Telugu course books for college understudies, will be supplanted by that of Telangana’s.
