“Despite not winning people’s confidence, YSRCP is trying to bring unrest and disturbance by talking about movements in Rayalaseema. But the region prospered more under TDP. It was only Congress party that brought strife and unrest to the region and made it a region of stones and dust,” said Chief Minister of AP, Chandrababu Naidu at Mahanadu meeting.

Babu promised to bring water to every acre in Rayalaseema. He said the region would be developed as an international centre for horticulture and in such a way that Rayalaseema supplies fruits to the entire world. He reminded that Sri city near Chittoor has developed with international standards thanks to the efforts of TDP. Kurnool and Anantapur will be developed as industrial centres since they are close to airports, he added.

“We will take the responsibility to make Rayalaseema Ratanalaseema,” he promised. “There is no way YSRCP can being in such development.”

Referring to the unrest created during Kapu reservation agitation, he blamed YSR Congress leaders to have invoked violence where a police station, train and bus were put on fire, he said, – They are trying to create unrest in the garb of politics. They are harbouring criminal mindset. If I cannot protect the people I wouldn’t need my power. I will not allow this.

He promised to provide for Kapu reservation, but after proper research and survey, and in addition said he would provide for the economically backward people in the forward communities. “Very soon in June, we will be waiving of the weavers loans completely,” he added.
