Baahubali inspired from ‘Mahabharata’: S.S. Rajamouli

Director S.S. Rajamouli says he looked for motivation for his approaching magnum opus “Baahubali: The Beginning” from the epic “Mahabharata”.

“‘Baahubali’ is inspired by ‘Mahabharata’, and the up coming second part is additionally propelled by ‘Mahabharata’,” Rajamouli said here amid the trailer released of the film.


“Every one of my pictures are inspired by “Mahabharata” and “Ramayana” on the grounds that those are two stories that have been bolstered to me right from my child hood. I get my enthusiastic associate from those sagas,” he included.

Rajamouli was available here with Bollywood movie producer Karan Johar, and the film’s cast, including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia. Karan is distributing “Baahubali”, which is said to have been made on a wonderful scale and has a container India bid.

His Dharma Productions has purchased the dramatic privileges of the Hindi form of the film. It will release on July 10.
