Yaga is an important part of Temple pooja rituals. Agni is the embodiment of the fire which consumes the puja offerings to the Gods, so He is seen as the Mediator between the Heaven and Earth. A fire is ignited in a Havan-kund, and pure ghee and other offerings are made. Mantras and Shlokas are chanted as submission to God and in return, seek His Blessings.
There is a real need to have a functional Yagashala within the temple, towards keeping this tradition ongoing. Homam will take place on a daily basis giving donors Mahapunyam for donating towards this Yagashala. In fact, the donors would be instrumental in providing shelter for others to perform Homam.
For interested donors, the donation amount is £1001. The amount can be paid over 12 monthly installments of £84 through standing order. Please contact Temple office on +44-121-544-2256 for further details.
