During the past one year, two inspiring, motivating, and guiding books have been written and published by Dr. Bellamkonda K. Kishore. The first one, Tamasoma Jyothirrgamaya, released in June 2018 is a concise account of the meaning and purpose of human life and how to raise our spirits above the mundane while leading our busy lives. This book combines the salad of modern day life with the dressing of the ancient Indian wisdom as well as the croutons of the Western thought. While doing so, it describes 12 aspects of our life, which we need to consciously shape to free ourselves from noise of the mundane world and be happy and peaceful. The second book, Life is Creating Yourself, released in April 2019 is a primer on how to build one’s own life and career based on tacit knowledge, which is no more taught in the schools and colleges. It describes 15 principles with examples and captivating quotes, which act synergistically in creating our lives. Both books were written to help students and youth to find their way in the current day complex society. Both are made available as a service to the community, and so they can be freely downloaded from the URLs provided below.
is Creating Yourself
Professor Bellamkonda Kishore, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, currently with the University of Utah Health and VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, spent his life doing research on the kidney and obesity, and reading, analyzing, digesting and assimilating the wisdom of both ancient India and Western thought processes. He made sincere efforts to amalgamate and adopt both in creating his own life and thus in finding the real meaning and happiness in life. According to Dr. Kishore and his peers who have written excellent forewords (see below), both books can enormously help the students and youth by providing the badly needed knowledge and thought process to expand their consciousness and find their way in this world as successful leaders and commendable citizens.
Tamasoma Jyothirgamaya by Dr. B.K. Kishore is outstanding and a great gift to the humans of all walks of life. Although, I have written books on success and gave 100’s of seminars, I can unequivocally say that Life is Creating Yourself, written by Dr. Kishore should be rated as the best – Dr. Malireddy S. Reddy, CEO of ADFAC and IMAC
After reading and rereading this magnificent little book (Tamsoma Jyothirgamaya), I am reminded of a quote by great Indian statesman and philosopher, Sir S. Radhakrishnan. “Human nature is fundamentally good and the spread of enlightenment will abolish the wrong”. – Dr. Vadrevu K. Raju, Founder & President, Eye Foundation of America
The author urges everyone to be loving, compassionate and empathetic and strive to make a difference, however small or insignificant it may appear to be. And he stresses that even though times have changed, one must not abandon the principles of Sanathana Dharma and Swadharma to ensure harmony, peace and prosperity. – Mahadev Desai, Journalist and Writer
