All the eyes are on Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore where Sunrisers Hyderabad will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL final match today. It will be one intriguing match that will either go only one way from the word go, or if the likes of David Warner and Devilliers choose to repeat their outstanding performance, it can turn out to be tough fight until the end.
RCB has the advantage of having a great batting line up – Virat Kohli, Gayle, and they will also want to get third time lucky – since their last two opportunities in 2009 and 2011 were wasted as they lost in the final match.
Sunrisers on the other hand managed to reach playoffs just once in 2013, however throughout the season they have banked mostly on their bowling prowess, and even in the Qualifier 2, it was David Warner who single handedly marched the team into final. However, it is not entirely a lost cause. Sunrisers, on their side have the likes of Shikhar Dhawan who may just rise upto the occasion despite suffering bad form, Yuvraj Singh with his amazing experience, Moises Henriques who did have his shining moments in the series, Deepak Hooda, Naman Ojah and Ben Cutting. The key is to shake off the fatigue, and leverage on the strengths.
