As you are all well aware, Cyclone Hudhud wreaked havoc in Vizag with an impact to millions.  Initial estimates indicate that the financial impact can go up to Rs. 70,000 crore. The situation in north coastal districts is still grim and all efforts are being made to bring back normalcy. The residents of Visakhapatnam have been reeling under a crisis as electricity and daily need items like milk are not available and communication network had virtually collapsed due to the devastation caused by the cyclone which struck on Sunday.

North American Telugu Association (NATA) would like to take the initiative to raise funds to help support the victims of this catastrophe.  To help raise the money for this good cause, NATA is planning to host fund raisers in various cities in USA. Please join us in these fund raisers and let us join hands to strengthen the conditions of the victims struck by the calamity. Every small donation will count towards a successful rehabilitation and every small step taken for this good cause will shorten the distance to normalcy back home in India.

In  an effort to keep the fund raising process transparent and smooth, NATA will only accept Credit cards or Checks payable to NATA. Please note that we will not accept cash. While we will ensure that you get the highest quality of programs in the fund raising events, we will strive to ensure that every penny we receive from these efforts will reach the cyclone victims reeling from the impact of Hudhud.

NATA President Dr. Sanjeeva Reddy will decide the proper channel to send the funds to India.

Please come forward and donate generously!!
