Tamil-Hindi actor Dhansuh is good to go to make his Hollywood debut with Uma Thurman starrer film “The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir.” Directed by Iranian-French chief Marjane Satrapi, the film also stars Alexandra Daddario, “Skipper Phillips,” actor Barkhad Abdi and Laurent Lafitte.
“The Bandit Queen” star Seema Biswas is also part of the stellar cast of the film, touted as Satrapi’s most aspiring venture till date. With the task, the 32-year-old “Raanjhanaa” actor has joined any semblance of Indian fares to Hollywood including Irrfan Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri, Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

The comedy adventure film depends on Romain Puertolas’ top rated debut novel “The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Wardrobe.” The novel, which turned out in 2014, has been interpreted into 35 languages. It tells the journey of an extortionist from India to an IKEA in Paris which transforms into a philosophical odyssey.
The film takes after a wild storyteller from New Delhi who goes gaga for a lady when he achieves Parish, however incidentally gets ousted alongside a group of African outcasts against his decision.
