The prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Aeronautical Society, London has been conferred to Dr G. Satheesh Reddy, Distinguished Scientist & Director, Research Centre Imarat, for his outstanding contributions in the field of Aeronautics and Aerospace engineering.
Dr Satheesh Reddy is one of the only 5 Fellows elected from India in The Society that has nearly 2780 Fellows elected and inducted from all over the world and . Royal Aeronautical Society is the world’s leading professional body dedicated to the aerospace community; it exists to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science and engineering around the world. Established in 1866, the Society has been at the forefront of developments in aerospace and seeks to promote the highest professional standards in all aerospace disciplines.
Dr G. Satheesh Reddy ‘s academic achievements include a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU, Anantapur during 1984 and an MS degree & Doctorate in ECE from JNTU, Hyderabad. His Technological achievements, eminence and decades of expertise in Defence technologies have brought him the distinction of being elevated as one of the youngest Distinguished Scientists of the country.
He is currently leading the Design and Development of Avionics technologies in critical areas of Inertial Systems, Embedded Computers, Control, Real Time Software and Simulation, Power Supplies, Seekers, Flight Instrumentation for various Defence applications. As a top Navigation Scientist in the country, he holds the distinction of being conferred with the Full Member Diploma from the Russian Academy of Navigation & Motion Control and has been inducted as Foreign Member of the Academy. He is also one of the youngest recipients of Indian Science Congress Association Homi J Bhabha Memorial Award from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
