He calls himself Samajwadi leader. Not many know him. May be that is the reason he chose the tried and tested method of getting free publicity, by making controversial statements.
He made one such statement on a day before calling for a ban on Brahmins in Uttar Pradesh. He said that UP belongs to Muslims and Yadavs. He said during his interview to news media, how, like the Kashmiri Pandits Brahmins should migrate to Modi’s Allahabad.

His comments have attracted a lot of ire from civil societies and he further said that Brahmins are bribe-takers.
In Uttar Pradesh caste and religion play important, and just before elections Rajeev Kumar seems to be trying to get a share of his pie and gain name and fame. In fact the eccentric Rajeev Kumar Yadav’s visiting card read – Rajeev Kumar Yadav, Sainik Prakoshth Prabhari Samajwadi Party, Distt, Bijnor.
However, such statements left uncontrolled can mar Akhilesh Yadav’s government.
