However, on his selection, Gatlin, his prime opponent was quick in resorting to Twitter to express his angst. He said, ‘He’s injured, gets a medical pass, that’s what his country does. Our country doesn’t do that (sic). There were many others who expressed displeasure over the selection.
Bolt said he was hurt with the people who spoke against his selection. There were people who took to social media to express their dissatisfaction. And to them Bolt said – For me I felt it was a joke, I felt it was a disrespect they think I’d back out of a trial. I’ve proven myself year on year that I’m the greatest. I laughed when I heard it. I was disappointed, especially in Justin Gatlin. (Sic).
