Amidst much speculation about Kapu leader on fast Mudragada Padmanabham’s health and accusations that the AP government is keeping the news on the leader under the wrap – Rajahmundry Government General Hospital authorities released a health bulletin on his condition.
According to the bulletin Mudragada and his family members were being examined every two hours and medical tests are being conducted on them. His wife Padmavathi is suffering from abdominal pain and is being administered drugs for the same. Mudragada is being taken through heart related tests, and according to doctors the ketone levels in his kidneys have gone down 2 plus. Mudragada’s fast entered 10th day on Saturday.
Meanwhile TDP government made it clear that the issue of contention – release of 13 accused in the Tuni fiasco, may not be possible even as 4 of them have been released on conditional bail.
Government Chief Whip Kalva Srinivasulu told media that the cases booked against the 13 persons cannot be lifted and clarified that the government never said it will withdraw CID probe and said that the probe will continue. He had also earlier said that the demand for reservations for Kapus is not possible for various reasons and without any knowledge of technicalities Mudragada went into fast.
