Actress and BJP MP Hema Malini, who was injured and admitted to hospital after her Mercedes crashed into another auto in Dausa region, was today released from doctor’s facility. “On the solicitation of relatives, she was released around 9:30 AM”, a representative of Fortis Hospital told PTI.
The 66-year-old performer had experienced a surgery for her injuries at the hospital yesterday. She was likewise treated for a minor crack on her nose.
A four-year-old young lady was killed while five others were harmed including the performer when Hema Malini’s car slammed into another auto on Thursday night in Dausa, 60 km from Jaipur.
Mahesh Chand Thakur, who was driving Hema’s auto when it met with the accident, has been arrested at Kotwali Thana in Dausa. A FIR was held up against the driver, who hails from Vrindavan, under different sections of IPC including 279 (rash driving) and 304 (A) (creating demise by carelessness not adding up to guilty murder).
Thakur was yesterday created before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Pallavi Sharma who allowed bailed to the driver. He was later released on bail.
