A la Airforce One, will be the Air India One – a fortress of a kind for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, since two decades it was VIP Boeing 747 jumbo jet, which has been serving VVIP’s for two decades, is going to be replaced by a plush and highly-secure Boeing 777-300s. The high security Boeing is designed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on the target list of various terror groups. According to experts it is made of special radar-absorbing metal and technology that can dodge enemy radar and also strike back in case of an air attack.
In addition, It is equipped with the latest communication facilities, can withstand grenade and rocket attack, has anti-missile defence systems, includes raar warning receivers and missile approach warning systems, can store food for 2000 people, air-airrefuelling facilities in case of emergency, 24X7 dostors, an operating theatre for emergencies, broadband, radio and telecom connections, 19 Television sets, executive rooms, bedrooms, and other office management facilities.
Once Manohar Parrikar finalises the deal that might be on June 25 in the Defence Acquisition Council meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will get to experience the advanced aircraft.
