Hudhud relief: Centre to give another Rs.1, 000 cr.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has reportedly agreed to release an extra Rs.1,000 crore to Andhra Pradesh towards meeting the post-Hudhud rebuilding and relief works.

Union Minister of State for Science Y. S. Chowdhary had a meeting with Mr. Jaitley, Union Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha and Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday at New Delhi, where the funds to be given to A.P. were accepted to have been examined.


As per official sources, Mr. Jaitley likewise guaranteed to consider sanction an alternate Rs.1,000 crore towards repaying A.P. government’s shortage plan not long from now, however needed the State to send the subtle elements rather than negligible evaluations.
