It’s been about six years since Shruti Haasan made her acting presentation and she has cut a specialty for herself in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi silver screen. Yet the shadow of her celebrated father Kamal Haasan poses a potential threat on her wherever she goes. She ends up noting an inquiry or two about her father constantly.
“Each time somebody reaches me, the first thing they ask me is — how’s your dad doing? And after that there are different inquiries like — how can he feel about you?,” admits Shruti snickering. What’s more every time she confesses to battle to answer the inquiry. “The majority of the times, I am lost for words when confronted with inquiries regarding my father. The main answer I used to give is — I don’t have a clue. Ask him,” says Shruti.
Anyhow when she saw Rishi Kapoor being gotten some information about his father at a question and answer session in Mumbai when advancing D-Day, Shruti understood that she better get used to being gotten some information about her father. “It struck me that when somebody like Rishi Kapoor gets asked such an inquiry even today, then I should live with it for whatever is left of my life. I mean,what do I say — I am pleased with my dad, his work and that I am his little girl!” Shruthi said
