Jagapathi Babu’s comeback as a villain in Telugu film industry has been extremely successful one with films like Legend giving his huge success. He has been choosy in picking the right roles, and his characters in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ and NTR starrer ‘Nannaku Prematho’ brought him much name. He has also been crossing border and trying his luck in other language films like Tamil – He acted in ‘Thandavam’ and ‘Lingaa’, yet the films have remained average films. But his demand has not diminished.

He has almost 17 films lined up across South cinema. In Telugu he is doing Oxygen and two other films with Kalyan Ram and Puri Jagannath. According to rumours Jagapathi Babu may also work in Gautamiputra Satakarni and Chiranjeevi’s 150^th film, ‘Kathilantodu’.

In Tamil he is signing up for a Vijay’s film. He is currently shooting for a Kannada film, following which he will be working in a Mohanlal film too. Jaggu Bhai seems to have arrived for good.
