National award winning actress Kangana Ranaut has confirmed she has been restricted in for the biopic on late Bollywood on-screen character Meena Kumari, yet says she won’t have the capacity to begin with the film before mid-2016.
Two of her different ventures – one with Sujoy Ghosh and the other with Hansal Mehta – will be keeping her occupied.
“Yes, I have been offered a film on Meena Kumari and I trust things work out,” said Kangana. “Anyhow before that I would be doing Sujoy Ghosh and Hansal Mehta’s movies, so I won’t have the capacity to begin with Meena Kumari’s biopic before mid-2016. In any case that is occurring,” she included.
Meena Kumari, best known for her work in movies like Chhoti Bahu and Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, was a famous star of Hindi silver screen and additionally a writer of extraordinary energy. Her own life was brimming with agony and distress and she passed on of cirrhosis of liver in 1972. She was 39. The biopic on the late performer will be helmed by film maker Tigmanshu Dhulia.
