Los Angeles, 12th January 2014: On Saturday January 18th, 2014, LATA is organizing an event to celebrate our traditional Sankranthi festival in a mela-style. In the mela, LATA is organizing several carnival games for kids such as Tick Tac Toe, Balloon Dart, Big Mouth Clown, Golf, Milk Bottle Toss, Hoopes, Ring Toss and many others. In order to organize these games in the event effectively, LATA requires volunteers between the ages of 12 and 18 years. This volunteer service is required on January 18th are between Noon and 6 pm. LATA will be awarding a certificate validating volunteer hours for the kids that will be contributing. Along with voluntary hour certificate, as a token of thanks from LATA, LATA will also be awarding a gift certificate for youth volunteers for your help in making the event successful.
