M Karunanidhi, DMK Chief and former Tamilnadu Chief Minister, dies aged 94

M Karunanidhi, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Chief and former Tamilnadu Chief Minister died in Kauvery Hospital on Tuesday @ 6:10 PM August 7th 2018.



In spite of the best possible efforts by team of doctors he failed to respond.  Hundreds of supporters gathered outside the hospital as the news of the DMK patriarch becoming critical spread in the evening, with all of them praying for his recovery. PM Narendra Modi: My thoughts are with the family and the countless supporters of Karunanidhi Ji in this hour of grief. India and particularly Tamil Nadu will miss him immensely. May his soul rest in peace.
