In the wake of winning two honors at the Cannes Film Festival, executive Neeraj Ghaywan’s introduction film “Masaan” will be discharged crosswise over India on July 24.
The film, which stars Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, Shweta Tripathi, sacked the acclaimed International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) in the Un Certain Regard classification and the Most Promising Newcomer grant for the director, at the as of late closed celebration.
“I am more happy for India and my group than myself. A win in the official determination has been long late for India and we have a twofold win. For such a large number of years Indie supporters as Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Guneet Monga, and now Manish Mundra, have worked tremendously towards giving a stage to Indian with the restricted assets they had, against the customary Bollywood structure,” said Neeraj .
The film is a joint venture between Manish Mundra (Drishyam Films), Macassar Productions, Sikhya Entertainment and Phantom Films.
