Director Jaypraad Desai’s Nagrik, a socio-political dramatization including veteran Marathiartists Dr Shriram Lagoo, Sachin Khedekar and Dilip Prabhavalkar, won huge at the 52nd Maharashtra State Awards with five honors.
Jaypraad is overpowered that his film Nagrik has packed away five honors and said that the honor has surpassed the team’s desires. Says maker Sachin Chavan, “I am extremely glad that the film has won in five classifications and anticipating its wide discharge onJune 12. I am happy that after the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI) the film has been gathering an astonishing reaction from everybody.”
