NATA Women’s Day @Charlotte – A Grand Success

Charlotte: North American Telugu Association (NATA) has hosted NATA Women’s day event in Charlotte, North Carolina with great pomp and gaiety.  Over 300 women from all walks of life have attended this event. NATA president Dr. Raghava Reddy Ghosala Garu has addressed the gathering and outlined various activities being undertaken by NATA. NATA Motto is “Samskruthika Vikasame Naataa mata Samaja Sevaye Nataa bata” and this event has raised funds for a local non-profit organization, which tackles human trafficking. 

Anchor Sameera Illendula has entertained the audience with lots of games and raffle gifts. A spoof skit on the mythological characters scripted by Anuradha Pannem had the audience burst into laughter.  Fashion show conducted by Sunita Sounderajan, which was an ode to the weavers of India was elegant to watch. Dance performances choreographed by Durga Sailaja Daliparthi and Lavanya Konuri were foot tapping.  Great ambience, delicious food, wonderful crowd all together accounted for a very successful memorable event for Telugu Community in North Carolina. Participants thanked NATA Charlotte Team for conducting such a great event.
