NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who was hospitalized on Sunday following a ‘minor kidney issue’ and ‘water retention’, was released on Wednesday morning.

“He is completely fine and after keeping him under observation for more than two days, we have now given him discharge from the hospital today morning” said Dr Sanjay Pathare, Assistant Director, Medical Services, Ruby Hall Clinic.
“After discharge from the hospital, Pawar left for Mumbai by a helicopter”, NCP representative Nawab Malik said. “After landing at the Mahalaxmi helipad, the NCP chief will continue to his home in South Mumbai,” he included.
After speculation on social media about his health, Pawar took to tweeted on Tuesday and said, “I am well and perfectly fine.”
