Chandrababu Naidu is truly hitting Telangana where it harms the most: power supply. The Hinduja force plant in Visakhapatnam is nearing fruition and is all situated to go operational in February. Citing the ‘AP Re-Organization Act’, Telangana speedily approached with a request that 54% of the force be allocated to it. Not ready to endure this T-disturbance, Naidu made it clear that a ‘Buy Power Agreement’ (PPA) expected to be set up to benefit of force and Telangana did not have any.

Rankled at this answer of Naidu, Telangana chose to go into a PPA with the ‘Hinduja Group’. The Hinduja Group then requested Naidu’s authorization to offer unutilized force to Telangana. Naidu however denied consent saying that AP will buy the whole power from the “plant” and if there was abundance power, AP will settle on who to offer it to.
