Polavaram Project is the dream of the populace of Andhra Pradesh and the Telugu Desam Party won’t rest until it is satisfied, Minister for Major Irrigation D. Umamaheswara Rao has said.
He said the allotment made for the task in the Union Budget was not sufficient. Both Union Ministers from the TDP -Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Y.S. Chowdary- – are planned to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Irrigation Minister Uma Bharathi to persuade them to build the distributions and incorporate the same in the Appropriation Bill, he said,
Including that Polavaram Project Authority CEO Dinesh Kumar and Member Secretary R.K.Gupta had likewise been sent to New Delhi to meet the Ministers concerned to advise the recent on the need to upgrade the assignments. “We will continue battling until the necessary allocations are made,” he said.
