Polavaram to be completed in 5 yrs : AP Cm

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that his government is focused on finishing the Irrigation projects in the State on a war balance.

He said the Polavaram Project, which was dismissed for more than 10 years, would be finished in five years. The Chief Minister, who was on visit as a feature of his Jaladeeksha, went by the Polavaram Project and kept focused night at the Hill View visitor house at the venture site close Ramayyapeta town of West Godavari locale. Tending to a question and answer session on Friday morning, he said Pattiseema lift watering system plan would likewise be finished in one year.


Alluding to the abundantly deferred delta modernisation program, he said the Godavari delta modernisation would be taken up using Rs 1,400 crore. He Praisedof West Godavari region who gave full larger part to the Telugu Desam. Naidu said Marine University would be set up close Bhimavaram.

In like manner, the administration would add to the fired businesses in the region. He included that there was probability of creating tourism, aquaculture, pisciculture, oil palm and agriculture in West Godavari area. The Chief Minister said the legislature had allotted Rs 40,000 crore for welfare plans. Measures were on to set up different commercial ventures in the area. A super nourishment park would be set up soon.

Alluding to the strides being taken to check the carrying of red sanders, he said that the legislature earned Rs 3,000 crore through red sanders closeout. Ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, P Sujatha, Eluru MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao, Rajya Sabha part Thota Sitaramalakshmi and other TDP leaders were present.
