Radhika Apte was found unsuspecting seeing some of her fake photos doing the rounds on the Internet and Whatsapp. While she concedes this is a danger of celebrityhood, the “Badlapur” performer says such occurrences are best overlooked.
The disputable photos are stripped selfies, and Radhika has expressed that “anybody with a normal eye realizes that its not me”.
Concurring that matters like these are a “drawback” of being in general society space, Radhika told IANS: “One simply needs to figure out how to not get influenced by it. The raunchy open attitude of taking a gander at ladies, joined with completely modest and thrilling news coverage does offer climb to such news and issues.
“Of course I wouldn’t deny that some people in the public domain do this as a publicity stunt, which is equally mindless. Unfortunately, as a part of the field, one has to face it even if one doesn’t fit into any of these categories. That’s just how it is in our country at the moment.”
How does an artiste shield himself or herself from changing and photoshopping?
“I don’t think there is anything one can do or one should do, but ignore it. Anything else is a waste of your time,” added the actress, who has also featured in movies like “Rakta Charitra” and “Shor In The City”.
Radhika, who will likewise emphasize in “Hunterrr”, in any case, does not wish to make any move against the fake pictures.
“It is crazy enough and I would prefer not to make it more silly by over-responding on it.
