danceIf you thought Bharatnatyam was just about Shabdam, Varnam, Padam and Jatiswaram – think again. For the first time ever in Atlanta (on July 11), we are proud to present a completely riveting, awe-inspiring Bharatnatyam production by the renaissance Bharatnatyam Artist – Savitha Sastry to contemporary music created by Rajkumar Bharathi (grandson of Subramanya Bharathi). Savitha will prove to all of you that Bharatnatyam is Universal. And it need not have a spiritual or devotional connection. It can be contemporary and does not always require Carnatic music. And that a production does not have to be in the praise of a deity, but can also praise the lives of the everyday women. If you love dance, admire creativity and have the passion to pursue any danceform, you can not miss this show. Audiences worldwide have been captivated by Savitha for 75 minutes in Chains – her production. And its your turn this time!
