Hyderabad brings in the cheer on second anniversary of Telangana Hyderabad has come alive with illumination reflecting the pride of Telangana, a creation of a state after years of strife and struggle. It was a night of glory even as the main roads of the city were chock o bloc with revelers out on the roads to enjoy the beautiful sights, especially on tank bund, necklace road and near Charminar. Hyderabadis with their friends and families were on the roads clicking selfies and welcomes the midnight hour that ushered in the second anniversary of the formation of Telangana.
Several programmes and various locations have been planned to mark the celebrations. Majorly, Ravindra Bharati, Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Harihara Kala Bhawan, LB Stadium and People’s Plaza, Necklace Road and Charminar are the venues where various cultural activitites, song, dance and drama are planned. LB Stadium will host the live Ghazal concert by Hyderabad’s very own Talat Aziz. People’s Plaza has been decked up to host a Telangana Food Festival. In addition, official celebrations are held at Parade Grounds and Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Madhapur. The night will see a display of fireworks which was the highlight even during the first anniversary celebrations.
