Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been granted the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Cinema recompense at the fifth yearly Asian Awards held in London on Friday night.
The 49-year-old performing artist was given the grant by Indian-inception British producer Gurinder Chadha and he said he was humbled to get the honor.
“I am to a great degree humbled and respected to get this recompense. I say this all the time that my fame has a place with most South East Asians who dwell abroad who have made the Indian silver screen and me known far and wide.
“I salute all the champs at the Asian Awards too. I am happy to have been a part of such a heavenly festival of diligent work by people in distinction field yet comparative energy,” Shah Rukh said in the wake of getting the honor.
Previous winners in the silver screen class incorporate, Irrfan Khan, Anupam Kher and Yash Chopra.
