He was a Maoist renegade, who was thrown out of his group because he was resorting to extortion and blackmail; he later turned gangster and murderer who also became a covert in helping in nabbing and kiulling of naxalites and naxal sympathisers.
He is known to have helped Gujarat police in Sohrabuddin encounter, and over the years has grown to be an influential and dangerous entity. His main business is Nayeemuddin, the most wanted criminal was gunned down by the police at Shadnagar near his residence. He was travelling in a car, and when his driver saw the police he started firing and in the retaliatory gun fire Nayeem was killed. According to official report he was being targeted with regard to a case of threat and extortion; however sources reveal that there is much more to his death.
It may be possible that Nayeem who enjoyed acquanitance with politicians and police, this time, chewed more than he could swallow. It is known that many TRS leaders and MLAs complained to K Chandrasekhara Rao on how Nayeem has been troubling them. In fact a few, including Bhongir (native place of Nayeem) MLA who was warned against visiting his constituency without Nayeem’s permission, and several leaders in highly places positions were troubled by Nayeem. Hence there was special focus on nabbing and putting a break on him. He is also said to be trying to establish a link with the IS
With his death many in question will breathe easy.
