Vishva Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) Tamil Nadu unit requested for a boycott on Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming flick ‘Uttam Villain’ blaming it for harming the religious notions of Hindus.
VHP Activists stopped a compalint against ‘Uttam Villain’ in the workplace of Chennai’s Commissioner of Police. They claim verses of a lyric in the film had disparaged a discussion between Prahalad (Lord Vishnu’s Devotee) and Hiranyakashipu. While identifying with mediapersons, The Members of the Hindu Outfit even cautioned of genuine challenges squeezing the boycott on the film.
Kamal Haasan assumes the role of a Star Hero in ‘Uttam Villain’ which is touted to be a Comedy Drama. Thus, He will be showing up in different get-ups in the picture and the discussion is with respect to one particular sequence.
Indeed Kamal’s last release “Vishwaroopam” confronted comparative dangers and Tamil Nadu Government has even gone to the degree of forcing a ban. The Versatile Actor was truly sufficiently fortunate to conquer all the obstacles for releasing it else he would have wound up insolvency.
