When I meet God I will cry
Unashamedly
To wash the scars of insult ravaging on me
When I meet God my tears will flow
In screams
To silence the note of desperation pounding in my heart
As his gaze meets mine I shall lament
To pour out in words
The hurt that my mediocricity of living stabs in me
In the sacred moment I shall shout hoarse To defy the deafening silence Of defeat that haunts me awake and in sleep
That one abiding moment I shall let myself go Unrestrained To cross the boundary of self discovery and doubt
When I meet my God, I shall cry
For that is the one sincere emotion
That is still mine
Which will let me still dream and hope to achieve
